DEPARTMENTAL MISSION: To provide leadership and operational management at the regional operations level by implementing best practice, policy, procedure, and
financial controls in order to ensure Revenue and Patronage growth.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs):
1. Provide leadership on the management of the regional operations plan.
2. Manage, Control and Lead Operations.
3. Achieve the set Fare Revenue and Patronage Targets.
4. Manage Stakeholder Relationships.
5. Management Human Resources.
6. Manage Risk and Compliance.
7. Monthly expenditure and income generated.
8. Asset Maintenance.
9. Customer Service.
10. Facilities Management
KNOWLEDGE: SKILLS: ATTITUDES: CAPABILITIES:
• PFMA, BCEA, Act 85, POPIA,
RSR Act, Govt Policy on Rail etc.
• Relevant city by – laws, SANS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE:
10 years’ Rail experience of which a minimum of 5
years should be at a senior management level.
Valid Driver’s License

• 24/7 availability
• Extended working hours
• Travel – locally and international
