Key Accountabilities

Conduct work activities in compliance with safety, health and environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements
Take prompt and appropriate action to prevent, correct and/or inform supervision of situations that could result in an incident or non-compliance
Perform truck and rail loading/unloading operations per procedure and instruction requirements
Perform line up and transfers to drumming locations per daily instructions
Make blends in designated tanks or rail cars per blend sheets
Maintain pumper’s log in SAP for all loading and unloading activities
Maintain current training and qualifications for assigned work areas
Ensure environmental logs are completed each shift
Responsible for housekeeping in work area
Complete required loading documentation (inspections, gauges, checklists)
Write maintenance notifications and safe work permits as required
Perform equipment troubleshooting and minor maintenance
Upon completion/qualification for Material Handler position per guidelines, prepare to rotate and qualify for additional Operator positions

Formal Education

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

Working Experience

Experience in petrochemical or related industry

Required Personal/Professional Skills

Good computer skills (typing, Microsoft Suite, SAP knowledge, etc.)
Sound communication and teamwork skills
Ability to perform essential job functions
Pre-placement testing is part of the pre-employment process
