Requirements :
Qualifications that allow registration with SANC as a Assistant Nurse. Registration with the SANC as an Assistant Nurse. No experience required. Demonstrate elementary understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices.
Duties :
Perform a elementary clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standards. Assist patients with activities of daily living. Promote quality of elementary nursing care as directed by the professional scope of practice and standards. Demonstrate basic communication with patients, supervisors and other clinicians. Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure good nursing care. Work effectively, cooperatively and amicably with persons of diverse intellectual, cultural, racial or religious difference. Display a concern for patients, promoting and advocating elementary care including awareness and willingness to respond to patients’ needs, requirements and expectations (Batho-Pele Principle)
