Description:
Hire Resolve’s client, a reputable mining company, is currently seeking an experienced Mine Manager to join their mining company based in Mpumalanga. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all mining activities at the site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and optimizing productivity.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all mining operations, including drilling, blasting, and excavation.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize production and minimize costs.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Manage and mentor a team of mining professionals.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth mining operations.
Prepare and analyze reports on production, costs, and safety.
Requirements:
Grade 12
Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering.
Mine Manager Certificate of Competency.
Blasting Certificate.
MDP or equivalent.
8 years’ experience in the mining industry.
Extensive Coal Mining Experience.
Registered with ECSA/SAIMM
