Job Summary: Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Store Driver for their Table Bay Mall location. The role involves delivering goods to customers efficiently and professionally.
Requirements:
Essential:
Grade 12 / Matric
Valid Driver’s License
Availability for retail hours and shifts
Advantageous:
Prior experience in a similar role
Responsibilities:
Deliver products safely and promptly to customer locations
Learn and perform various dispatch functions
Ensure accurate delivery of products and prioritize fridge line deliveries using cooler boxes and cold packs
Use the most efficient routes and return promptly to the store for subsequent deliveries
Maintain vehicle organization and report any damages or losses
Handle fragile and hazardous products with care
Follow delivery instructions and ensure all paperwork is correctly managed
Process payments and maintain an accurate vehicle logbook
Inspect the vehicle for defects and report issues as needed
Adhere to road traffic regulations and company policies
