- Ensure accurate picking and binning of parts in the warehouse
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick up according to schedule
- Load and unload vehicles as per transport schedule
- Ensure all parts are appropriately stored and safeguarded as per prescribed standards and best practises guidelines at all times.
- Report contamination control shortcomings
- Assist with daily bin audits and stock counts
- Report and ensure execution of parts claims (ensure over or under supplies or damages are reported and claims are filed)
- Assist with return shipments where applicable (either central consolidation or return shipments back to vendor)
- Ensure assigned activities for the day are fully completed, report underutilisation to Supervisor
Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
- Matric (Grade12)
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
- Proficiency in inventory management software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practises and methods
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Added advantage – Forklift license, first aid experience, ability to operate power tools, hand tools and heavy machinery
- Working experience on the windows platform, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be willing to work shifts.
